Glamorous 1930's Ball Gown. S

What an entrance maker! This gorgeous black taffeta and net gown has a very interesting bodice with a faux sarong tie neckline with net insets and a ruched center, the vamp back has a keyhole opening with button and loop closures up the back of the bodice. The peek-a-boo net sleeves have puff shoulders and taffeta flower insets. The cuff have a snap closure. The circle skirt, is taffeta with a net overlay with taffeta flower insets.

Condition: the gown is in good condition, but it does have some issues. The taffeta is slightly faded to a blackish purple on one shoulder and on one side of the back of the bodice, the taffeta on both sleeves is very slightly faded as well as under the arms. Darts have been taken out from under the arms and 4" of the side seam has been let out which has left stitching marks. There are several slight whitish marks on the net and taffeta (most likely just dirt) and numerous tiny holes in the net in a 1" area near the hem on the skirt and a few more scattered here and there. The taffeta underskirt has some dirty spots at the hem and varies in color slightly.
