All of my clothing measurements are taken flat.



Bust measurements are taken just below the armpits and doubled.

Waist measurements are taken at the narrowest part of the garment and doubled.

Hip measurements are taken at the fullest part of the garment just below the waist and doubled.

Sleeve length measurements are taken from the shoulder seam or approximate shoulder point to the cuff.

Shoulder measurements are taken from shoulder seam to shoulder seam.

Shirt length is measured from the shoulder to hem.

Dress length is measured from the shoulder to the hem.

Skirt length is measured from the top to bottom of the garment.

Inseam length is measured from the crotch to hem.

Outer leg length is measured from the outside top of the garment to bottom.

Hat measurements are taken from the circumference of the inside of the hat.

Glove measurements are the number stamped inside the glove.

Shoe length measurements are taken from the inside toe to heel and the width is taken from the inside side to side at the widest part of the foot.
To ensure the best fit possible, I recommend that you measure a garment that you have at home that fits you well for comparison.
